Seniors Terrell Hudson and Bryce Hainline have been the beating heart in the middle of the Bulldogs Baseball lineup all year long, and Thursday’s 9-7 win against region foe Independence was much of the same. The duo hit a combined 3 for 5 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs, including a home run from each of them.
Backed by a 8-0 lead after three innings, Hainline tossed a solid 4.1 innings before being lifted in the fifth after giving up 4 runs. Senior Brad Losleben followed Hainline allowing just 1 run in 1.2 innings. Junior Kyele Roe picked up the save after allowing 2 runs in the 7th, surviving the late rally by the Patriots.
