The Bulldogs had an explosive day at the plate scoring 17 runs off of 15 hits. Senior catcher, Hannah Schlotterbeck hit her first ever over the fence homerun! Hannah has been a vital part of the softball team since she has been a freshman. If you show up to a softball game you’ll find Hannah behind the plate as she has caught every single pitch of every single regular season game for the Bulldogs.

Not only did Hannah hit her first career homerun, junior Kallie Case is the new holder of the doubles record. She currently has 14 doubles.

As for the rest of the Bulldogs the offense came alive late in the game. Senior, Julianne Malis batted 1.000 on the day 2 doubles and 3 RBIs. Case hit her 6th homerun of the season bringing in 5 RBIs. Schlotterbeck batted .750 with her homerun with 3 RBIs. Kaitlyn McCain and Vivi Kang both batted .500.

Malis pitched a good game against the Skyhawks. Malis struck out 14 while only giving up 3 hits. Today’s win is Malis’s 15th win of the season.

The Bulldogs are currently ranked 13th in 5A. You can catch your ranked bulldogs at home on Thursday April 11th at 3:45 at the Varisty softball field.
